One covet - Make sure you see right vet. Some of the vets are very knowledgeable and wonderful while others are fresh out of college - not so good! Also, getting an appointment with specific vet, calling ahead of time doesn't mean much. You will still have wait just like all other walk-ins. Maybe they can change that. Sometimes the waits are over an hour!
Other than that, it is a good vet hospital overall. Friendly staff, clean place, pleasant atmosphere. I feel good about bringing my pet here...
Great animal hospital...if you have a dog. They have a cat friendly area which I’ve tried to use twice now and to no avail. I follow the directions to call into the front area and no one ever answers. I asked about it this time and was given an attitude and told “Yeah I don’t know. Besides it is just as loud because the boarding facility is right there”. Well, then why even bother having a so-called cat area? Besides the sometimes rude front staff and the canine dominating nature of the place, the vets have always been good with my cats and given them great treatment. Sadly, the other factors have me irritable enough to begin looking elsewhere for my feline friend.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.....Naperville Animal Hospital. I have been bringing Ellie there for almost 10 years, and my cats prior to that. I love that you don't need an appointment. I do usually ask for Dr. Tom and he is wonderful. He spends all the time I need to reassure any concerns I have with my dog. Ellie has had some health issues over the years. They have been so helpful in her journey and I love that even after a simple teeth cleaning, they call to see how she is doing. There are many times I just call with a question and my call is ALWAYS returned either that day or the next. I have recommended my sister and my friend to Naperville, and will continue to do so any time someone I know gets another pet. I have moved to Darien, so I'm not very close but I would NEVER change. It's worth the drive. I also love that they added the pet insurance. It's quite a savings and is just fabulous. All of the techs, the assistants and the front desk, everyone is so kind and they remember who you are. I can't imagine going any other place!!!
I take both of my dogs to the Naperville animal Hospital. The staff is people and animal friendly. They are quick and knowledgeable. One of my dogs had a rash that he was biting and scratching. They diagnosed it and voila he was so much more comfortable and left his side alone. They have convenient hours. I haven't had to use their emergency group (thank goodness) but it looks like they would be very good at covering every incident.
We love the vets and the staff at this animal hospital! We've been bringing our senior Beagle here for 4 years and their care and attention have been fantastic. The waiting area is well ventilated and clean as well!
