WTF? my doctor recommended them for a special mixed prescription, I show up, some grumpy old guy is shouting at an employee, really negative atmosphere. Some younger person took my prescription, I had to wait until the next day, really? I show up the next day, their closed. Saturday 9-2? Really? Closed on Sundays? Really? a pharmacy?? More trouble that it was worth to use this pharmacy and strange grouchy people working there.
Doesn't keep my address, or answer the phone for over three days of calling, but conveniently has my credit card information to charge me for my medicine. Disgusting.
Closed Saturdays. Please change the posting. This appears to be an ongoing issue. Would have saved me a trip.
I went here for a compound prescription. Like others, I had to wait to pick up my prescription until the following day, which was fine. The problem I encountered was that their contract with my insurance company (Blue Cross/Blue Shield, not a minor company or one that's not mainstream!) had expired. They were "in the process" of renewing that contract with BC/BS, so I had to pay out of pocket for my full prescription ($90) and then would have to submit directly to BC/BS for reimbursement. Blue Cross requires that the pharmacy list out names of individual components of a compounded script along with the prices for each item. At the time of my pick up, I was given a form from Martin Ave that I was told to submit to BC, but in looking at the information when I got home, the compounding information was not on the form. I went back in and asked them for the specifics for my prescription, but had to leave my form and contact information as they could not fill in the information while I waited. I called twice after that to check the status and was told my request would be pulled "to the top of the pile" to be processed and I should receive it shortly. I stopped in there again over two weeks ago and was told it would be processed the following Tuesday as only one person is able to do those and he only has one day a week he's given time to do them. I originally filled the prescription on May 2nd. It is now July 16th and I have yet to receive any information from Martin Ave Pharmacy to be reimbursed for my prescription. The time has long passed since I was supposed to refill that script, but for obvious reasons I have no intention of returning there to do business with them. I had always heard that Martin Ave Pharmacy was reputable and a good place to do business. I cannot agree with that assessment of this place as I have now contacted them by phone or in person on 4 or 5 different occasions since May 2nd to try to get what I have to have from them in order to be reimbursed from an insurance company who SHOULD be a company they have a contract with. If possible, I would steer clear if you can! You shouldn't have to continue to hunt them down to try to get your money when you shouldn't have had to put the money out in the first place!
3 different searches, 3 different closing times on a Saturday. This search said open till 4. They are closed. This is the 2nd time I've come here and they've been closed. I blame myself, I should have called.. But they should get their act together and publish correct times.
