The doctors and nurses here were very friendly and informative. Our newborn was given lots of attention and everything was fully explained to us. We had virtually no wait time, and we were treated with very high urgency. Our visit to this ER was definitely #1 compared to other places that we've visited.
Last weekend I brought in a second family member. Took 30 minutes before anyone even stuck their head in the room. When I asked a nurse in the hall when someone would be seeing her, I was told "we have a lot of people in pain, there's a man down the hall in pain". Such empathy from the staff!
I have always had nothing but professional and the best treatment at Edward. I think people need to remember the ER is for Emergencies, I have been there when it is packed and have seen pretty healthy people complaining because they had to wait, while others were their fighting for their lives. Being a professional patient and being in many hospitals, Edwards is the best I have been to.
Well the story ends the same as the first episode.
Horrible ER. Avoid if possible and head elsewhere.
Fantastic doctor, nurses, staff. Very friendly. Clean rooms. Feels like a luxurious hotel hospital. Beautiful lobbies and private rooms with LG LCD mounted in the room. The visitors chairs were not the comfiest but it's something. Overall great experience and can't wait to go there when I'm having a complication.
The staff in labor and delivery as well as the mother baby clinic were phenomenal. Danielle from labor and delivery was excellent, Cheryl, Cathy, and Kristy from mother baby clinic really made things go smoothly in the mother baby clinic. There were so many others i just cant thank you all enough for a great experience. I will certainly choose Edward Hospital again for my next birthing experience!
Her writhing and crying in pain finally brought in her nurse. Our nurse never introduced herself and no one seems to wear name badges there. One nurse had a badge on that was totally washed clean of any printing. I guess the staff likes to remain anonymous. However, the fact of this visit was that after labs, ultrasound and CT the doctor announces 6 hours later since arrival that she was fine--all normal scans. I took her home in pain, nausea and vomiting where she laid in bed for another 24 hours at home.
Second time in one year that I brought a family member to this ER, only to be misdiagnosed! First with a misread ultrasound which caused my daughter to be sent home, only to return the next day in unbearable pain requiring emergent surgery.
This time the CT performed that night was definitely abnormal and report stated such. I can only assume the ER doctor read someone else's report ? ? My fault for trusting Edward ER a second time. I won't be fooled a third.
