The store personnel and manager has no idea about how to serve an upset customer. I showed up for my 3:30 appointment on the dot. I was checked in and shown to one of the waiting tables. After 45 minutes of waiting, I went back to the usher and asked him about the status of my appointment because I could see that people who were coming in later than me were getting served. He could not find me in in his appointment list. He went back and looked at the cancelled list and found me there. He put me back on the list. I asked to see the store manager and was told that she was busy with a customer.
After the technical specialist came and completed my work order, I asked for the manager again. After 10 minutes of hemming/hawing, she finally came. She breezily told me that could not find me on the desk and that is why the appointment was cancelled. When I pointed out that I was sitting on the desk all of the last one hour, she then said that they had made a mistake in their entry because they did not note where I was sitting. She still would not apologize for the delay or the inconvenience.
I would give Collin a 5. He went above and beyond helping me today between signing in people (I was there for almost 3 hours). He kept trying different things on my MacBook until it was fixed. He was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. The reason for the 4 stars is because I feel this store needs more personnel, especially on the weekends. I tried to schedule an appointment online but couldn't get in for 2 days. Thanks again, Collin - I appreciate your time and effort!
I honestly don’t know how Apple has completely lost it when it comes to the Apple Store experience. They’ve completely lost focus on the excellent customer service and technical skills- they seem more concerned now with image, aesthetics, and diversity. Honestly, I don’t care if the employee has a lumberjack beard, an arm sleeve tattoo, or looks to have mad street credentials- but apparently Apple does so much at the expense of competent and professional employees. They fail to lack good diagnostic skills, and the store manager Janice has the worst people skills and is not running a good store.
Been here four times in the last two weeks for the iPhone X, watches, case and screen protectors. Staff were super helpful, but you do have to get someone’s attention bc the store is packed. They put the screen protectors on for you and it’s so worth it. Great products and service! Unrelated, the Apple employees all seem to have very fashionable Apple attire!
The technical specialist was professional when he did join me at the table.
When I asked here what she would do beyond the flimsy excuse to fix the inconvenience caused, she had no answer. I just left flabbergasted. Last Apple product buy for me -- dealing with "genius''" is too much work!
Fantastic service. Went in without an appointment on a Saturday morning and had less than a half hours wait. The tech was very knowledgeable and within five minutes he had the problem resolved. This is the second time I've been to Apple Store and had great service. Would highly recommend them but do suggest an appointment. Don't call on the phone you'll wait forever other than that super service.
